Life is full of opportunities to show someone we love them. One such opportunity is the funeral or memorial service. Such a loving event celebrates the choices they made, the relationship you shared, and honors the memory of your loved one.

 

Pioneer Ocean View United Church of Christ provides a serene space for funerals and memorials. Our Sanctuary has seating for over 150 people. We also have a beautiful Fellowship Hall available for receptions.

SANCTUARY

 

Intimate and filled with natural light, Our Sanctuary is the perfect place to honor your loved one. Built in the style of mid-century modern, this serene space includes beautifully maintained brick accents, natural lighting, a garden atrium view, a raised stage, audio-visual system, air conditioning and seating for 150. To allow relatives and friends to visit after the service, you may also want to consider rental of our newly remodeled Fellowship Hall. 

 

The Sanctuary is an open and inviting space that offers comfortable seating, natural lighting, beautiful atrium views, a raised stage, an audio-visual system, plus an organ and piano.

FELLOWSHIP HALL

 

Newly remodeled, the Fellowship Hall is the perfect place for a reception or gathering. This venue includes a reception patio with views of the mountains to the east, air conditioning, audio visual system, views of the Bay, a kitchen for caterer staging and seating for 150. *

Seated Reception: 120

Wine & Beer Reception: 150

     -6000 square feet

 

*Note: When you rent the Fellowship Hall, the round tables and chairs are part of the rental fee or you may choose to rent from an outside party supply rental company.

Pioneer Ocean View United Church of Christ is located in Clairemont approximately 4 miles north of the San Diego Airport & Old Town train station, and 10 miles from downtown San Diego at 2550 Fairfield Street, San Diego, CA 92110.
