Pioneer Ocean View UCC is proud to host our community's second annual interfaith prayer service on Thursday, May 3, National Day of Prayer. The service is at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary and will include representatives from various faith traditions. POVUCC's choir will sing. You are also invited to a free, modest dinner of soup, salad, bread and fruit at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Special thanks to the Islamic Center of San Diego for providing their delicious lentil soup. Please join us for this special time of worship together

Join us for worship service on Sunday, April 8th and enjoy a special musical performance by Voices of Our City, a choir composed of local musicans and homeless individuals who are transforming the perception and experience of homelessness.

The church directory has recently been updated and a limited number of printed hard copies are available on the narthex table. The directory is also available on our church website - povucc.org under "Member Information". To access, please type in the passcode - POVUCC2018. We will also be creating a web version of the directory that will include pictures! There will be two opportunities to have your picture taken during Fellowship Hour: Sundays, March 4 and 25. If you are unable to make it to either of our picture-taking Sundays, instructions wil be available for uploading your own photo.

Join us on Ash Wednesday, Wednesday, February 14th, as we begin our Lenten journey with our sisters and brothers from the San Diego UCC Partnership Churches Worship service is at 7:00 pm at Christian Fellowship Congregational Church, 1601 Kelton Rd, 92114. Light supper at 6pm.  Joint choir rehearsal at 6:15pm. Hope to see you there!
