  • For the last several years, Pastor Mary Sue has shared "Star Words" in worship on Epiphany Sunday, simple paper stars with a word upon which to reflect in the coming year. Epiphany Star Words were mailed on Monday, December 28 with the hope that they will arrive by Sunday, January 3. If you do receive a star word and would like to for 2021, please contact the church office.

  • The Roots & Fruits online contemplative practice will meet Sunday, January 10 & Sunday, January 24 from 5:00-6:00pm. If you are planning to participate, please send an email to Jimi Valiente-Neighbors at jimiliz.mvn@gmail.com for the link and password, or if preferred, send a text to 831-332-8247. When you contact Jimi, please share your full name.

  • Stewardship pledges were dedicated during the worship service on November 22, but it is not too late to turn them in! Please reflect on how you can give to POVUCC in 2021, and complete the pledge card linked here. If you are a regular giver who doesn't pledge, we would ask that you consider doing so for the 2021 year. Your pledged commitment will help to solidify the church's budget for the coming year. With the challenges and uncertainties the pandemic presents, it would be very helpful to have a complete picture of the church's financial capabilities for the upcoming year. Please mail your pledge cards to the church at 2250 Fairfield Avenue. Thank you for your support and generosity!

  • Like so many events and activities of 2020, this year's Christmas Eve Service will be offered virtually.
